The mission of PATH’s library media program is to ensure that students are effective users of ideas and information and are empowered to be great readers, critical thinkers and skillful researchers.
Hours of Operation
Students may visit the library with teacher permission.
• During morning group on Monday and Friday.
• During class time from 8:55 – 3:00 as an individual or small group with a pass from the teacher or a paycheck signature.
• During tutorial on Monday and Friday.
Students may select from a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction books. All materials are circulated for a two-week period with the option to renew the material once for an additional two weeks. All students may check out two books at a time.
Overdue, Damaged, and Lost Materials
Overdue Materials: Students who keep materials longer than the allotted two weeks without renewing have overdue materials. Five cents per day will be charged for materials that are late.
Damaged Materials: Library materials are expected to be returned in the condition they are checked out. If materials are returned with writing, torn pages, wet or with damaged covers, additional fines may be assessed.
Lost Materials: If library materials are lost, they must be paid for at the replacement cost.
Other Resources Available: The library offers computers for student and teacher use. These computers are for educational use only. Gaming sites, personal emails, and chat sites are not allowed.
